Academics

Macclenny Elementary School serves 1st - 5th grade students and has a long history of high academic achievement.  Our teachers and staff members are dedicated to creating a positive and engaging learning environment for all students.  We have highly qualified teachers and staff members that meet student's needs and help them achieve their goals.  Our teachers and families work as partners to help our students reach their full potential.  MES is committed to building a strong foundation for our students' future success.

Family and community involvement is very important to the academic success of our students.  At MES, we strive to offer many opportunities that include our families and community members. Some of the activities included in this are the Fall/Spring 5K, Blanket Drive for the Isaiah House, classroom volunteers, grade level plays, Super Kids awards ceremonies, 5th grade graduation, SAC committee, field trips and many more.

PBIS is a program that has been implemented for many years at MES to reward positive behavior.  These rewards are fun activities that students can participate in.  Some of these rewards include hat and sunglasses day, nachos parties, chalk day, extra recess and school dances.

MES is committed to providing before and after school activities for our students.  We have over 100 students that participate weekly in one or more of these activities. These activities include our Robotics club, Just Say No, PBIS Patrol, Journalism and King's Kids.
